JUSTIN HOCKLEY NIGHT
Justin Hockley was honored by the Dark Pigeons as his number
was officially retired by the franchise. Hockley was one of the
original Pigeons as he was the first goalie for the Birds. Over his
career, Hockley posted an impressive 81 - 31 - 19 record and
held a 3.22 goal against average. He helped the Pigeons hoist
four D and one Lower C League Cup.

Typically a mild mannered person off the rink, Hockley
commanded great respect at the field general as he barked out
his orders to the skaters in front of him. Hockley's confidence
extended to his team as he helped the Pigeons to a record
sixteen games unbeaten streak between the Summer of 2002 -
the Winter of 2003.

Hockley's records between the pipes include the lowest goals
against in a playoffs a 1.00 (Winter 2004), longest shutout streak
at 111 minutes, and a perfect record of 5 - 0 in championship
games.

While Hockley ended his brief career to pursue traveling, the
Pigeons hope to talk the netminder into a return.
